Every EveryWear pattern comes as a zipped file with multiple print options to suit you:

  • A4 (perfect for home printing)
  • US Letter (for US-based printers)
  • A0 (ideal for print shops)

What is a PDF pattern?

Our patterns are delivered as digital PDF files—ready instantly after purchase.

Inside your download, you’ll find:

  • Your sewing pattern
  • A detailed instruction guide

Print at home or send it to a print shop—whatever works best for you.

Downloading your pattern

Once your order is complete, your pattern is just a click away: 

  • Download directly from your order confirmation page, or
  • Head to your inbox and select “View order” from your confirmation email

From there, you’ll be taken to your download page.

Good to know:

  • Your files will download as a zipped folder
  • Don’t forget to check your spam/junk folder (emails come from EveryWear Patterns)

Where is my pattern?

Your PDF pattern is available:

  • Immediately after checkout on the confirmation page
  • In your order confirmation email

If you can’t find it, a quick spam folder check usually does the trick.

Unzipping your files

On Windows

  • Right-click the zipped folder
  • Select “Extract All…”
  • Choose where you’d like your files saved
  • Click “Extract”

On Mac

  • Double-click the zipped folder
  • Your files will automatically extract in the same location

Downloads & access

  • Download your pattern as many times as you like
  • No expiration date on access

We recommend saving a copy to your device for easy access anytime.

Printing at home

  • Set scale to 100% / Actual size / No scaling
  • Turn off "fit to page"
  • Orientation: Portrait

Before printing your full pattern, always start with the 10 cm test square.

Step 1: Test Print

  • Print only the page with the 10 cm square

Step 2: Check Accuracy

  • Measure the square—it must be exactly 10 cm

If it’s not quite right:

  • Adjust your printer scaling
  • Reprint until it’s perfect

Once confirmed, go ahead and print the full pattern (keeping the same settings).

Getting Started

  • Print or view your instruction file
  • Use the layout guide (last page) as your roadmap

Assembly Steps

  1. Match pages using the 2x2 cm square markers
  2. Align carefully before assembling the pages
  3. Some home printers leave a 3mm blank margin along the outer edges of the A4.
    In this case you need to fill in the missing 6mm of your size lines together.
  4. Work methodically:
    • Left to right across each row
    • Then move down to the next row

Top Tips

  • Use tape 
  • Keep page numbers upright (even if pieces look upside down)

Once complete:

  • Double-check alignment
  • Trace your size in the paper pattern layout
  • Copy and cut out your pattern pieces
  • You’re ready to sew

Troubleshooting

Pattern not lining up perfectly?
This is usually due to how your printer feeds paper.

Try:

  • Adjusting paper guides
  • Ensuring paper sits straight
  • Switching printers if needed

Returns & refunds

As digital products, PDF patterns are non-refundable and non-returnable.

Seam allowance

Seam allowance is usually not included in our patterns.
Please add 1 cm to all seams unless otherwise stated in your instructions.
